Awarded as Top 50 Hydrogen Power Industry in 2025!

From June 11th to 13th, the 2025 (7th) Gaogong Hydrogen and Electricity Industry Conference hosted by Gaogong Hydrogen and Electricity was held in Changzhou. Liang Yang, executive director and co-founder of Hydrogen Craft, was invited to attend and participate in the fuel cell special "Energy Material Manufacturing, Powerful Stack" themed roundtable dialogue, and discussed with many industry experts and leaders the technological breakthroughs and scenario-based applications of domestic hydrogen fuel cell materials in multiple scenarios. At the award ceremony held at the same time, Hydrogen Craft won the "2025 Hydrogen and Electricity Industry TOP50" for its outstanding achievements in the application of hydrogen fuel cell technology and the mass production strength of air-cooled hydrogen fuel cell system stacks.

During the roundtable discussion, Liang Yang said that as the global energy structure accelerates its transition to low-carbonization, the hydrogen fuel cell market will achieve explosive growth in the future, but it is currently in a critical period of large-scale development. Hydrogen fuel cell technology needs to be continuously practiced and explored in the research and development of adapting to multi-scenario applications, especially in terms of stack safety, low-temperature adaptability, start-up activation controllability, and power expansion. In addition, the localization of stack component materials and technologies is also related to the global development process of domestic hydrogen fuel cell stacks. We look forward to working with more outstanding companies in the future to explore higher quality and lower cost product upgrade paths, bringing broader development space for the diversified application of small-power air-cooled hydrogen fuel cell stacks.

As an industry pioneer in hydrogen fuel cell technology research and development and scenario practice, Hydrogen Craft has provided the industry with a development strategy for localization of materials and self-developed technology in hydrogen fuel cell technology and applications. The independently developed air-cooled hydrogen fuel cell system has obtained the world's first German Rhine IEC safety certification. Through highly adaptable stacks and thermal management technologies, it has overcome the problem of ultra-low temperature adaptability of stacks. It uses advanced multi-layer ordered coating technology and GDL reconstruction technology to effectively solve the problem of rapid activation and starting of air-cooled fuel cells after long-term storage. In addition, Hydrogen Craft's intelligent hydrogen fuel cell array technology can form a high-power array through multiple stacks, further meeting the power limitation problem of hydrogen fuel cell stacks.

The breakthrough of key technologies of hydrogen fuel cell stacks has greatly promoted its large-scale and commercial development process. Faced with the most concerned endurance problem in the fields of industry-level drones, shared electric motorcycles, small logistics vehicles, yachts, etc., the endurance of the product can be extended to 3 to 5 times the original after the hydrogen power system is modified, and it can still maintain a stable operating state in an extremely cold environment of -20℃ to -40℃. In March this year, the Shanghai Fuel Cell Production Base of Hydrogen Craft was officially put into production. It is the first and only air-cooled fuel cell production line in China that has achieved full process autonomy. It covers the complete process of lightweight fuel cells, from CCM spraying, membrane electrode assembly, bipolar plate dispensing, stack assembly and activation testing. After all production lines are put into production, the annual production capacity will reach 60MW. The first phase of production capacity can meet the mass production and shipment of 40,000 hydrogen-powered cars or 8,000 sets of hydrogen-powered drones under full production, providing an integrated solution from energy supply to energy use.

It is reported that the 2025 (7th) Gaogong Hydrogen and Electricity Industry Conference is hosted by Gaogong Hydrogen and Electricity and Gaogong Hydrogen and Electricity Industry Research Institute, and undertaken by Changzhou Hydrogen Bay. It is themed "Breakthrough in Large-Scale Application" and has seven special sessions, including the opening ceremony, the first special session for hydrogen production by electrolysis of water, the second special session for hydrogen production by electrolysis of water, the special session for hydrogen storage, transportation and refueling, the first special session for fuel cells, the second special session for fuel cells, and the closing ceremony. The topics cover the entire chain of hydrogen energy "production, storage, transportation and refueling" and fuel cells and downstream applications. More than 600 industry experts, business leaders, representatives of research institutes, and investment institutions gathered together to share hot topics, grasp trends, and discuss the future of global development of the industry.
